Above is our affiliation application form which you can print off.
Our Comprehensive Club Insurance Policy is easily the best on the market. Please pay particular attention to the fact that this policy has excellent third party insurance for club members while fresh water fishing anywhere in the World apart from USA and Canada. Most club policies simply dont have this cover as a very valuable extra for its members.
Our Personal Accident Policy is also taken out by around 50% of our clubs.

At the last committee meeting we approved affiliation applications from 6 new clubs. In the last 2 weeks I have had 4 more clubs on to me saying that they are considering affiliating to us. One is new and the other 3 are established.
Most of the other angling federations insure with another insurer RSA who, I believe, offers a less attractive policy to the one IFPAC and 2 other feds offer. I have been told that the price of the RSA policy is set to increase sharply this year. This may result in some of the other federations switching to the excellent policy that IFPAC and FISSTA negotiated many years ago.

Has anyone (no names needed) claimed under the insurance policy John? If so, what was the outcome? Was it easy going or a fight to get compensation?

There are still a few clubs who have yet to send in affiliation and insurance. Please check that your club is in.

John

Can you confirm. Is it 75 euros for fees plus 4 euros per person for the other packages for 2014? I wasn't sure if costs had gone up this year as the posts on this page originate from 2012/2013.

regards
Richard

Yes, affiliation is €75 for 2014. Comprehensive Club insurance is €2 per member and almost all clubs avail of this. The personal accident policy is taken out by around 50% of clubs.
