Hello Lads
I don't want to create a new topic so I'm asking here.
Does anybody know what's the situation on Lough Ennell at the moment?
I was there last Saturday and entire lake was covered in ice. In Lilliput there was around 4-5cm of ice so I could walk on the ice without any problems. I'm planing to go there tomorrow and I don't want to be disappointed again.
Thanks for info.
Melek

Hi Mel
We tried Ennel on Sunday and totally iced up- with such heavy ice think it will be a week or more before its fishable. Headed to Derravaragh expecting to see the same - but no ice anywhere on the lake- not that it improved our catch rate... blanked!!!
Let me know if you get on to Ennel as we might try it Sunday
Pat

I honestly don't know. I just heard there was good fishing on it recently. I haven't fished town lake in years.

Hi Mel
With the temp still down for the past week, I think it will be still frozen.
Heading for Lacken tomorrow as reports say it is open and fishable
Will let you know how we get on
