Most people have turkey for Christmas dinner but a good few have goose. My local butcher tells me his sales of turkey are around 20 times his goose sales.
We usually have goose on Christmas Day and turkey on Stephens Day. Any other goose fans out there ?

Goose is lovely!! but iit too easy to overcook, well 9 times outta 10 its overcooked , and not much meat either . Its better slightly underdomne than overdone , and unlike chicken it wont do you harm..... My aunt used to baste it in pear syrup ( from tin) really good!!
