I received me Jan 2011 edition of P&P in the post today and I swear to Jaysus I'm sending it back. From page 30 til 34 has to be the worst gathering of pike anglers I have ever seen and it's even worse that they published them in a Pike mag. Words fail me, how can they dare to even charge us to look at the photos I'll never know!!

I'm sure you all agree that you don't buy a pike mag to look at the heads of Rory McAllorum; John Chambers; Godfrey O'Donohue never mind Sean Markey & Ronan Murray gauping out at ya!!

I'm away for a whiskey!!

Mickey

Hi Mickey,

You should see us motley crew in normal daylight hours, its more than one whisky you'd need, you would need at least the bottle. Laughing

Excellent spread in the Anglers Digest John, well written and beautiful photos to boot. Just a pity you didn't send it to P&P, would have saved me having a bad head this morning Laughing Laughing

Here Rory, I've seen ya's all in the light of day & night, that's why I needed a bottle Laughing Laughing

Just got my copy. A good read ok. Good article by Alister. One error. He wrote that on the second day no Irish Anglers started at Ballyforan Bridge. Three Irish anglers started there. Larry Mulvaney worked his way upstream from the Bridge. Jimmy Thompson and Robbie McShane started at the bridge but walked upstream on a lane parallel to the river for about half a mile to get to what was thought to be better water.
