Rubber dingy and gear and in excess of 100 perch seized in the last hour, 4 people involved some using a hire boat . I dont know what method was being used but I am sure they will be explainig all to a Judge soon

On Sunday evening Assistant Inspector Dermot Broughan and a colleague came across 4 anglers with 117 perch and 1 pike under 50 cms. Each of the 4 were issued with 90 on the spot fines. A dingy, electric engine and 4 rods were seized.

I use to catch Dace in the River Blackwater in Fermoy years ago. I didn't think they where this far up. Mind you good bait if you can get them!
