There will be lots of presentations after the A.G.M. of the Angling Council of Ireland on Saturday 12 th March.
All Irelands International anglers plus team managers who did well will be presented with trophies and scrolls. The ACI will also be presenting certificates to anglers who completed coaching courses. From our point of view our winning team from last October will be invited along with our guys who completed coaching courses.
Sport Minister Mary Hanafin will be invited (if she is still there). John Treacy of the Sports Council will be presenting the International awards while Coaching Ireland boss will present the coaching certs.
There will be a wine and finger food available. The presentations will start at 2 pm. Irish International Angling Teams did very well last year and the Angling Council are anxious to acknowledge and celebrate their success.
Members of alliliated clubs of all 5 Federations can attend the A.G.M. at 11.30 and also the reception.

Hi John

Unfortunately me & Brian can't make the presentation now. Few things have come up for us.

I hope all goes well.

Best wishes

Mickey

All the team apart from Ray Keyes managed to make it. Coaches Frank Leonard and Newgrangepiker made it. Lots of snaps were taken though my snaps didnt come out too well. Martin McEnroe took snaps of everything and will soon forward me a disc with all snaps. I will put them up then.
Good turnout. Think that well over 100 turned up.
We did hope to have the Tourism Minister there but with Ministers only appointed during the week there was never much of a chance him there.
